An invitational competition by the West Broadway Neighborhood Association in Providence, this mixed use project required the integration of commercial space and affordable housing in an urban setting. Our challenge was to create a building that engaged the neighborhood by instilling a sense of place among the long peripheral streetscape of commercial facades.
